Former Eastenders star Ricky offers support to super Queen's Park boxing show

QUEEN’S PARK ABC recently held its home show at the Wrexham Memorial Hall. Ricky Grover, the former Eastenders actor and comedian best known for his sketch on The 11 O’Clock Show, has links to the area and came along to show his support for the club. Everyone who attended the show enjoyed a great night of boxing featuring young up-and-coming boxers.

Coach Gareth Harper said: “Watching the development of these young, talented boxers makes me proud of how far they have come. Like I always say, the hard work pays off in the end.” Grover added: “What a great night of boxing.



I really enjoyed all the bouts and everyone in Wrexham was really welcoming. I will definitely be showing my support in the future, a great night all round.”.
