Over the past seven and a half years, Fortnite has released numerous free skins. Some of them were included in limited-time events, such as Winterfest skins, while others were obtainable from quests or referral programs. Thanks to this, every player has had a chance to get a skin without spending any money on the game.
According to a new leak, it seems that Epic Games will release another free Fortnite skin soon. 30 update on February 22, 2024. Despite being added to the game in Chapter 5 - Season 1, the skin hasn't been released yet. Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, believes that Epic is saving it for another Reboot Rally.
Epic has released several Reboot Rally sessions in the past, giving players a chance to unlock various cosmetic items. The last session ended in December 2024, and considering that Epic releases them four months apart, the next one might be around the corner. With the release of Fortnite Chapter 6 - Season 3 on May 2, we may get another Reboot Rally.

However, the game developer hasn't confirmed any of the details, so we'll have to wait for a bit longer.In the meantime, check out other free skins in Fortnite. Some of them are available for a limited time and may expire by the time Melodie Mars comes out.
