Eau Claire County has confirmed four tornadoes touched down during the April 28 outbreak. Three of the tornadoes were rated EF-1, while the fourth was EF-0. According to a Tuesday release from Eau Claire County Emergency Management, the four tornadoes occurred across southern Eau Claire County, including in the towns of Fairchild, Otter Creek and Pleasant Valley.
No injuries or fatalities were reported. There was some damage to agricultural buildings, homes and vehicles, the release says. Tornadic storms darkened the sky above Eau Claire on Monday night.

m. the storm was 11 miles south of Stanley. The storm moved northeast at 50 mph.
The EF, or Enhanced Fujita scale, measures the strength of tornadoes based on estimated wind speeds. An EF-0 tornado has wind speeds of 65-85 mph and is capable of producing minor damage such as blowing shingles off a roof, damaging gutters and siding and breaking branches or uprooting trees with shallow roots. An EF-1 tornado has wind speeds of 86-110 mph and can produce moderate damage to roofs, break windows, damage exterior doors and damage or overturn mobile homes.
