Former England cricketer and TV presenter Freddie Flintoff has revealed he and co-presenter and friend Paddy McGuinness haven’t met up in two years. The pair presented Top Gear together alongside Chris Harris but following Freddie’s crash while filming for the show in 2022, the pair have spent some time apart. Speaking in his new Disney+ documentary, Flintoff, Freddie said he felt “bad” for not meeting with McGuinness after the crash.

“It's also something that has stopped, I suppose, in some ways, because of what happened to me. Like their careers have been altered as well. So I feel not guilty, but I feel bad for him,” reports the Mirror.

Paddy McGuinness shares support for friend and co-star Freddie Flintoff Paddy has shown his support towards Freddie and admitted the pair still message each other, having formed a close bond while working on Top Gear. Paddy said: “I love Fred. He’s a good lad.

The mad thing about me getting on with him so well is that I know absolutely zero about cricket. I've never watched it, never been into it and never played it. I knew of Freddie and Ian Botham and Michael Vaughan.

.. the famous names.

It was such a lovely experience. “It was one of those jobs for me, as someone who wasn’t well travelled to visit the places we did in Top Gear and go off the beaten track.
