Free fitness classes on offer in Bradford for those with disabilities

A number of classes for people with disabilities to get fit and socialise are set to take place in Bradford, at the Pinnacle Performance Fitness Studio.

A number of classes for people with disabilities to get fit and socialise are set to take place in Bradford, at the Pinnacle Performance Fitness Studio on Nelson Street - and each is completely free to attend. An Inclusive Culture in Motion class takes place every Thursday at 4.30pm, offering the opportunity to participate in inclusive and welcoming dance sessions - especially designed for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

People can expect gentle and accessible movement, the chance to improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, and a social, fun, and uplifting time with others. An MMA Active and Able class takes place every Thursday at 10.30am, offering the opportunity to join inclusive mixed martial arts (MMA) sessions designed specifically for adults with learning disabilities and/or who are neurodivergent.



Attendees can expect to improve their fitness, engage in fun exercises, improve coordination, strength, and fitness, and learn new skills in a safe setting. Finally, an Active and Able class takes place on Mondays at 4.30pm and Fridays at 10.

30am. This free gym project for people with disabilities aged 14 and up is a chance to "get stronger and fitter and feel great," and is suitable whether the attendee is looking to improve fitness, build strength, or just have fun in a supportive environment. There will be fun, guided workouts for all abilities; the chance to improve strength, mobility, and fitness; supportive instructors; and a friendly, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere.

No experience is required for any of the classes - but attendees are advised to wear comfortable clothes..
