Infinity Nikki , the incredible PS5 free-to-play platformer from Infold Games, is fast approaching its six-month anniversary – and the developer is rolling out some humongous updates to celebrate. Due out on 29th April, the release’s v1.5 patch will add some major new features to the game, including the ability to dye outfit parts to create new colour combinations – and the option to invite your friends to join your game with online co-op.
But it all starts with a new location: the whimsical Sea of Stars. As is commonplace for the gacha genre, the introduction to this cosmic open world environment is packed with proper nouns and poetic language, but all you really need to know is it’s a beautiful new realm to explore. Completing it, and various other challenges, will allow you to unlock the new 5-Star outfit Sea of Stars for free in the Heart of Infinity, and there’ll be a total of 100 pulls to unlock across the entirety of this patch.
As we already alluded to, co-op is coming in the update, and it’ll be available across the entire game – including Miraland and the new Sea of Stars. You’ll be able to hold hands with your friends, take photos together, and even engage in new co-op challenges which require coordination..
