Friday storms lead into cold and wet weekend

Periods of rain will come with cold weekend weather

After a warm to hot Thursday, a cold front will bring storms to the state Friday.The storms will form near and even behind the front as strong northerly winds move in along with cool air. Some of the storms may be severe with large hail as the main threat Friday early evening into the overnight.

As the front continues south, temps will be quite cool with rain and thunder Saturday.The rain will end Easter morning with clearing skies in the afternoon.-Meteorologist Aaron Brackett.
