Friendly Plymouth pub with 'excellent' food and 'best' bar staff

There's a chance, if you're off this long Easter weekend, you're in the market for a new pub to visit. Look no further than Plympton's popular Chaddlewood Inn - as, if its reviewers are to be believed, it's worthy of becoming your new favourite spot. The pub - part of the Sizzling Pub chain - is renowned for its sizzler plates.

The Glen Road spot has a traditional pub vibe and, it seems, some of the best service anywhere in Plymouth. Its website says: "Here at The Chaddlewood you'll find everything you'd expect from a traditional local pub in Plymouth - but with a bit of added sizzle." Diner mammafoz popped in to grab a takeaway last month and wasn't disappointed, she says.
