No fewer than nine LIVE Championship games are available on TV or streaming services over this weekend. Three of the nine are free to air, with all of them on Sunday afternoon. Two of those are Munster Senior Hurling Championship encounters, as All-Ireland champions Clare go to Waterford (2pm) before the meeting of Cork and Tipperary from Pairc Ui Chaoimh (4pm).
It’s Waterford’s first foray into this year’s Championship while the other three sides all have one point after an opening round which featured draws between Clare and Cork, and Tipperary and Limerick. Both games are LIVE on RTE 2, while at the same time BBC 2 will have the Ulster Semi-Final meeting of Down and Donegal LIVE from Clones (3pm). If you want to watch the All-Ireland champions Armagh as they go head to head with fierce rivals Tyrone in a crunch Ulster semi-final tie, you’ll need to have a GAA+ subscription.
That one throws in at 4.45pm on Saturday evening and is available LIVE on the GAA’s streaming service. GAA+ will also have LIVE action from the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship where Dublin host Wexford at Parnell Park at 4.
30pm. Wexford defeated Antrim by a point last weekend, while Dublin got the better of Offaly by three points at Parnell Park. Dublin will look to make full use of having home advantage in back to back ties.
Meanwhile, another streaming service, Clubber will take up some of the slack for the GAA as they stream two LIVE Joe McDonagh Cup games. They are Kildare versus Westmeath and Kerry’s encounter with Carlow. This weekend’s LIVE TV and streamed GAA Championship action is as follows: Saturday 26 April Joe McDonagh Cup Round 2 Kildare v Westmeath , Cedral St Conleth’s, Newbridge, 4.
