Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has been in early access since March 26. Presently, gamers can access this game via Steam. So, it’s nearly a month since this game has been available, and to celebrate this, Netmarble has released new details of this action-adventure RPG.
As per the latest revelation, the game is about to introduce a host of mythical creatures in its newly showcased co-op mode. The two clips that the developer team has released recently consist of the game's co-op dungeons, Altar of Memories. As the trailers have showcased, the cooperative multiplayer mode of the game will introduce formidable creatures like the Ironbeak Griffin, the Giant Ice Spider, and other deadly bosses.
Interestingly, these bosses are all inspired by mythical creatures from A Song of Ice and Fire, a novel series by American author George R. R. Martin.
Among these enemies, Ice Spiders are massive arachnids that are said to be ridden by White Walkers. These creatures lurk in caves and attack with venomous webs. Next comes Stormhorn Unicorns.
These rarest creatures from Skagos launch thunder and lightning using their immense horns. Their size is enough to dominate the battles. The clip shows Ironbeak Griffins.
These are majestic predators who live in the abandoned mines in the Westerlands and attack people who are unaware of their presence. Additionally, the game will also have Red Cockatrice, a grotesque fusion of dragon and rooster. These creatures are known for their deadly claws and beak.
Finally, the co-op mode of the game will feature a battle against Field Boss Drogon. Game of Thrones fans definitely remember Daenerys Targaryen's formidable black dragon; in this game, it will be a boss to take down. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has presented Game of Thrones fans with an exclusive opportunity to experience their favorite OTT series in a different way.
They can assume the role of a new character who will be the heir to House Tyre, a lesser-known noble house in Northern Westeros. Players can have the chance to experience a robust character customization system and choose from three character classes: Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin. Each of these character classes is inspired by the original series.
Aside from that, Kingsroad brings the chance to roam around and explore iconic locations like Castle Black and Winterfell to provide an immersive experience within the Game of Thrones universe. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has a blend of cooperative gameplay, mythical creatures, and a fresh narrative set in the beloved world of Westeros. The release date of the official release of the game hasn’t yet been released, but the Steam page says the early access will run for four weeks at least.
Now that this four-week time period has almost reached its end, there’s a possibility that the full game will soon be released. However, there’s still no word from the developers about this game’s release. There’s another possibility that the developer team is buying some time to expand the game’s access to Android and iOS devices at launch.
Additionally, maybe this game will be available at the Epic Games Store after its official release. Anyway, nothing can be confirmed at this point..
