Get your car washed for a good cause at borough fire station

Is it time to clean your car ? On Saturday, April 26, borough firefighters can get it looking spick and span for a good cause . Motorists can get their car washed at Farnworth Fire Station in Albert Road from 10am to 4pm as part of the National Car Wash event. All proceeds will go to the Fire Fighter’s Charity , which provides care and support to people in the firefighting profession throughout their lives, whether serving or retired.

Michael O’Neill, watch manager of green watch at Farnworth, said: “The money we raise will provide lifelong support for the mental and social well-being of the UK fire and rescue community.”.
