The forecast underscores a blend of sweltering conditions and isolated weather disruptions, urging residents to prioritize safety measures.Morning mist is anticipated over coastal and forest zones, gradually shifting to partly cloudy skies by late morning. By midday, sunshine will dominate, driving temperatures upward.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 23°C and 26°C, while maximums will vary sharply: 34°C along the coast, 36°C in forest zones, 37°C in transition areas, and a peak of 41°C in the north.Despite the predominantly clear skies, GMet highlights a risk of localized thunderstorms from late afternoon into the evening, particularly in the middle belt, transition zones, and parts of the north. These storms may bring sudden downpours and gusty winds, though they are unlikely to offset the day’s intense heat.
Authorities advise residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and monitor weather updates. Vulnerable groups, including children and the elderly, are urged to remain indoors during peak heat hours. In thunderstorm-prone areas, securing loose outdoor items and avoiding open fields during storms is recommended.
