A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support a Norwich man battling cancer. The campaign, organised by Nicola Martin, aims to raise funds to provide her husband, John, with some comfort and joy during his treatment. John, who is dealing with gastric and oesophageal cancer that has spread to his adrenal glands, liver, and bones, is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
The disease is incurable and cannot be operated on. In addition to the physical toll, John is grappling with emotional and financial stress. An active individual who loves playing tennis, John has recently found solace in completing a large Lego Lamborghini set.
Now, he hopes to take on a Lego Falcon set to keep his spirits up during his treatment. The GoFundMe page has already raised £650, bringing joy to John during these trying times. The campaign organiser wrote: "If everyone can help us, we would most appreciate it.
