Opening the batting in Jaipur, the young southpaw scored a quickfire 34 off 20 balls, smashing three sixes and two fours.



Though his team lost, Suryavanshi stole the spotlight with his fearless performance, just months after being bought for $130,500 in the IPL auction at the age of 13. Suryavanshi has now broken the record previously held by Prayas Ray Barman, who debuted at 16 in 2019, becoming the youngest-ever IPL player.
