James Grainger scored five goals as part of an eight-point outing to lead the Garden State's third-ranked team to a win on Thursday

James Grainger racked up eight points for Summit, ranked No. 3 in the NJ.com Top 20, in a five-goal, three-assist effort in the team’s 12-2 victory over Montclair in Summit.

4/24 - 4:30 PM Boys Lacrosse Final Montclair 2 Summit 12 The two teams played to a 1-1 tie after the opening quarter before Summit began to pull away in the middle frames, outscoring Montclair 9-1 across the second and third quarters. Chris Davies scored one goal and assisted on three others while Will Iacovelli and Quinn Hynes each had one-goal, two-assist showings for Summit (7-2). George Brashares and Thomas Alway were the goal scorers for Montclair (3-6).
