Grass fire closes highway, prompts state of emergency for Samson Cree Nation

Samson Cree Nation in central Alberta said a state of emergency has been declared by the Maskwacis Fire Department due to a wildfire in the area. In a post on social media Friday, Samson Cree First Nation said all those affected are to go to the Howard Buffalo Memorial Centre in Maskwacis.
