Login Sustainable packaging start-up Zero Co, which was backed by Melbourne’s Square Peg Capital and Skip Capital, the investment fund of Kim Jackson and Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar, has shut after it failed to overcome production problems. The company attracted prominent investors in 2020 , when it began selling home cleaning and personal care products such as shampoo and shower gel in reusable bottles made from plastic waste removed from the ocean.
It also sold pouches made from plastic waste diverted from landfill that customers were encouraged to return for refills.
