Hazelton City fire fighters made a tragic and unexpected discovery early Sunday morning, after a report of a possible mannequin on fire in the city.

HAZELTON, Pa. - Hazelton City fire fighters made a tragic and unexpected discovery early Sunday morning, after a report of a possible mannequin on fire in the city. Hazelton Police say firefighters responding to a call made at 7:01 a.

m. did not find a mannequin, but a real body on fire in the area of Club 40 Road and East Broad Street in Hazelton. Hazleton City Police Department's Criminal Investigation Unit and the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Investigation Unit are actively investigating this incident.



At this time, there is no information about the victim or the cause of this incident. Police ask that if anyone has information or home security footage or would like to report a tip, please contact 911 or submit a tip on the Crimewatch Page . A press release from the Hazleton City Police Department says that a briefing will be held Sunday afternoon to release more information.
