Surrounded by beautiful flora and earthy textures, the house is a heartfelt representation of the actor’s labour. Recently, he warmly offered an elaborate tour into his calm world through Asian Paints’ ‘Where The Heart Is’ series. In the video, he spoke about the serene vibe of his house, which is less about luxury and more about authenticity.

Speaking about his home, the actor revealed, “When you’re building a home, it’s all about passion. Only if you create magic at home can you create that magic outside. Only if you’re happy at home will you be happy outside.

Home is about being happy, being able to do what I want to do, and being able to be who I am." Shetty’s home welcomes natural light and is adorned with beautiful indoor greenery, which holds a special place in his heart. He stated, “The beauty for me is the high ceiling — something I’ve always wanted.

From the exteriors to the interiors, there are earthy textures, rust, green, and browns. I’m obsessed with plants, nature, and wood." “The nights are beautiful and the skies are clear here," Shetty continues.

The actor claims to have integrated cinematic concepts into the design after working with renowned art directors and cinematographers, giving his house a creative warmth. The den, a private haven away from the bustle of Mumbai, is the most notable element of the house. “It’s mine as soon as I walk in.

Here, nothing worries me," he admits. Shetty has preserved the originality of nature with the house being surrounded by rocks and boulders. He said, “It makes us think of the land in its former state.

" He presents what he affectionately refers to as the ‘pre-climax’—a sizable, outside space that serves as the backdrop for the home’s focal point, the ultimate outdoor getaway. According to Shetty, “it’s all about nature, sustainability, protecting the environment, and creating your own world." The core of the house is strongly rooted in the couple’s ties to their Mangalorean heritage.

He says, “I’m reliving my childhood in every way," when he considers the experiences his son Ahan is currently having around the house. The residence also served as the location for Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s blissful wedding. Shetty’s father proposed the name Jan for the house, which translates to “the world, the universe, heaven on Earth.

" It’s an appropriate moniker for a place that combines memory, emotion, and nature..
