BaseballCentury 1, Harford Tech 0: The Knights beat the Cobras on Monday in a nonconference pitchers’ duel in which there were only six total hits. The Knights pushed across the only run in the top of the eight on Ryan Evans’ RBI single.

Evans also earned the win on the mound, coming on in relief and pitching four innings, striking out six and allowing just one hit. CJ Scism started for the Cobras and struck out six in five one-hit innings. North Harford 7, Patterson Mill 5: The Hawks built a 7-0 lead in the sixth inning and held off the Huskies’ rally.



Mason French had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs to lead the offense. Nathaniel Burd also had two RBIs, while Tucker Deal tripled and drove in a run.Boys lacrosseSt.

Paul’s 11, Loyola Blakefield 8: The host Crusaders (7-4, 4-2 Mayland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) used a 5-1 run in the second quarter to pull ahead of the Dons (8-5, 3-3). Liam Finkel had a hat trick for Loyola. Boys’ Latin 8, Severn 3: The visiting Lakers (9-4, 5-2 MIAA A Conference) took an early 5-1 lead and held off a late rally by the Admirals (4-8, 1-5) to win.

Matthew Higgins had a hat trick for Boys’ Latin. Gilman 13, St. Mary’s 11: The Griffin Graham (3 goals, 2 assists) and led the host Greyhounds (4-9, 3-3 MIAA A Conference) beat the Saints (4-9, 1-6), Gilman has won two of its past three games.
