Hollyoaks legend hasn’t aged a day 20 years after finding fame on the soap

Stuart posed for a selfie with his wife, Georgina Juma, in the photos posted to her Instagram account.“My beautiful family ,” she captioned the post from December.Another photo in the post showed Georgina posing with their children.



Stuart was axed from Hollyoaks for good in 2018 when his character briefly returned, only to be brutally killed in a hammer attack, after he was exposed for cheating on Mercedes by sleeping with Goldie McQueen.He’s also starred in an episode of Doctors, The Dumping Ground as Matt Branston and Casualty as Clyde Jackson.The actor has also appeared on I’m A Celebrity .

Stuart had a recurring role early noughties soap, Night and Day, and appeared in one episode of cop drama The Bill when he was 14 years old.During his time on Hollyoaks, Stuart’s dramatic storylines showed Russ marrying Mercedes McQueen (albeit briefly), battling testicular cancer and dating twin Sophie Burton.In fact, it was Russ who saved Sophie from the Dog In The Pond when it caught fire – only for her to die in his arms shortly afterwards.

Stuart said at the time of his return in 2018: “After a decade away from Hollyoaks, it felt like the right time to come back and particularly when the show is on such a high.“It will be really interesting for me to explore how the character of Russ has evolved and to return as a different actor to who I was back then.”In 2020, Stuart landed a role in a Hollywood production opposite culture icons Joan Collins and Jane Seymour, and Denise Richards.
