Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said that the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will bring humid weather with chances of isolated rain showers, thunder, and lightning. The same weather condition is expected to persist in Palawan, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao.
However, Castañeda noted that there are chances of isolated rain showers, thunder, and lightning brought by easterlies. “Parts of Surigao del Sur and parts of Davao Oriental will experience cloudy skies and scattered rains, lightning, and thunder due to easterlies,” Castañeda, speaking in Filipino, said in the 5 a.m.
