It has been almost a month since 300,000 people lined the streets to celebrate Newcastle United's Carabao Cup win. Generations of Geordies gathered together to mark the historic occasion and witness the open top bus tour make its way through the city centre before a huge celebration on the Town Moor. The scenes witnessed across the city on March 29, and the days leading up to Newcastle's cup final against Liverpool, proved just how much the win meant to fans.
And now, Newcastle United fans will get the opportunity have their photo taken with the Carabao Cup which will be on display this weekend in Gateshead. To mark the launch of Sky Glass Gen 2, Sky is bringing the prestigious Carabao Cup to Currys Team Valley in Gateshead on Saturday, April 26. This special event will provide fans and customers with a unique opportunity to get up close to the iconic trophy.
