The Tigers know they can secure their survival in their final home game of the season against the Rams

Joe Gelhardt has urged his Hull City teammates to get the job done when the Tigers host relegation rivals Derby County at the MKM Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Should City beat Derby and secure a second successive win for the first time under Ruben Selles, the Tigers would secure their place in the Championship next season with one game to spare. Monday's 2-1 win over Preston North End was priceless in their bid to avoid the drop, with Gelhardt bagging both goals in a stirring second half comeback, and he's challenged the side to go and back it up with what would be their biggest victory of the campaign just at the perfect moment.

" It's a challenge, and we're all looking forward to it , so our full focus will be on that now. This game's gone, so we focus on that and try to get the job done," the forward told Hull Live. "You want to win every game, and we know every game in this league's a challenge, so we'll prepare properly for them.

Just like any other game, we'll go and give it one hundred per cent effort and try and get the job done." After a season of real struggle, Ruben Selles' side know three points would guarantee their survival, irrespective of what Luton Town do in their early kick-off at home to play-off-chasing Coventry City. "That's what we've been working towards and getting safe," Gelhardt continued.

"When I first came here, I thought we were in a false position, but that's just the situation we're in now. "Let's go and get the job done on Saturday. That's the game that we'll be focusing on now, and we'll put one hundred per cent in, and let's go and get the job done.
