After months of exploring the UK and its culinary delights, an American food connoisseur has shared "three things he can't live without" since returning to the United States. Kalani Smith, from Tennessee , amassed over 3 million followers on TikTok for his taste-testing adventures across the pond. And faced with what's missing in America, he took to video to lament his newfound needs.

Surprisingly, the top of his list isn't edible - it's a humble electrical appliance - one that isn't so common here in the US. "Number one - an electric kettle," divulged Kalani. "I never knew in 26 years that I needed a kettle so bad, until I started going to the UK and becoming a real tea addict.

" He's especially fond of certain tea brands like Yorkshire Tea, Scottish Blend, Ty-Phoo Tea, and Make Mine A Builders. "These are just a couple of them in my pantry, but my favourite is probably still Yorkshire," confessed Kalani. The second essential is "British condiments" as Kalani disclosed four particular favorites: "HP Fruity, Worcester Sauce from Asda, Daddies' Brown Sauce, and some normal HP Sauce.

" He also highlighted Henderson's Relish as one of many others missing from the American refrigerator. The UK has a lot of different condiments that I'm now a big fan of," Kalani added. Closing, the foodie confessed ahead of his third item: "If you know me then this isn't going to be a surprise.

" Kalani then professed his love for Irn-Bru, a popular Scottish carbonated drink, calling it, "The pride of Scotland," and admitting he's hooked on the 1901 version that sticks to the original recipe. While he prefers it from a glass bottle, Kalani shared that he has to settle for cans sold on Amazon in the US. Reacting to Kalani's tastes, a British TikTok user said: "I'm flabbergasted that kettles aren't in every US kitchen.

" A Scottish woman couldn't conceal her satisfaction, noting: "I cannot help the smug grin on my face whenever an American tries Irn-Bru and loves it. As if I invented it!". A fellow Irn-Bru fan declared: "Irn-Bru is the best of it all.

And delighted to see the 1901 is your fave. That new fangled rubbish since the sugar tax is minging. It does not fix hangovers like the original did.

" A fourth TikTok user celebrated Kalani's beverage choices, adding: "You are now officially British. Yorkshire Tea too one! Irn-Bru, I thank you sir. Condiment you need to add - English mustard.

" Whilst a fifth person quipped: "The first American to say Worcestershire sauce correctly. Amen." Click here to follow the Mirror US on Google News to stay up to date with all the latest news, sport and entertainment stories.
