Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) Secretary Syed Fakhar Ali Shah termed the match as the most challenging international encounter Pakistan has ever played. In the scheduled 7 innings, Pakistan held their traditional rivals to a 1-1 tie. Neither team could score in the first extra inning, but in the second extra (9th) inning, India managed a run to secure victory.
The final score was 2-1. Pakistan’s women players gave a tough fight to the higher-ranked Indian side. In men’s baseball, Pakistan remains undefeated against India.
