The BSE IT index surged 6% this week, driven by Tata Elxsi’s 15% gain following a ₹70/share dividend announcement. Tech Mahindra and Coforge also saw notable gains, while 63 Moons Technologies was the biggest loser, dropping 7%.

IT stocks hogged the limelight during the week with significant action in most stocks in the BSE IT index. At the index level, the gains were to the tune of 6%. Individually, the best and worst performers were Tata Group stocks.

Here are 10 biggest weekly gainers and losers. Tata Elxsi was the top gainer, surging by 15% during the week. The company announced Rs 75/share final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.

63 Moons Technologies was one of the top five biggest losers during the week. It saw its share prices erode by 7%. On Friday, they fell 5%.

Mastek shares have been on a falling curve for the past one week following week earnings where company reported 14% YoY fall in net profit. Its weekly declines are 7%. The stock fell 1.

6% on Friday. This smallcap counter fell 7% during the week and it fell 4.6% on Friday despite largely buying trends during the session.
