Italian Fest enjoys sunny weekend of community fun

Tickfaw hosted the 52nd Italian Festival this past weekend with sunshine and blue skies. Events over the festival weekend consisted of the traditional Italian flag raising and kick-off party at Tickfaw City Hall on Thursday. On Friday, festivities began in earnest and continued through Sunday with live music, Italian cuisine and games.

The festival parade was held at Saturday morning, starting on Sparacello Lane and traveling down U.S. Highway 51 toward the festival grounds.
