ITCZ, easterlies cause cloudy skies in parts of PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies continue to bring cloudy skies over several parts of the country. According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms may be expected in Mindanao caused by the ITCZ. The easterlies, meanwhile, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of the said weather conditions. Meanwhile, light to moderate wind with slight to moderate coastal waters will be felt all over the country. Temperatures in the Philippines will range from a minimum of 23°C to a maximum of 35°C over the next 24-hour period.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:36 a.m. on Sunday.
