An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao on Sunday and will bring scattered rains over the area as well as Palawan, according to PAGASA's weather forecast. Mindanao and Palawan will also have cloudy skies and thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The easterlies, meanwhile, will affect the rest of the country. Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
