BRYMBO LODGE and Rhos Aelwyd made it through to the Wrexham Junior League’s U12s Cup final. Jacob Priddin hit a hat-trick in Brymbo Lodge’s 5-3 victory over Llangollen while captain Theo Thomas was one of the scorers in Rhos’ 3-1 win against Llay United for whom Oliver Szawin replied. Hawarden sealed their place in the North East Wales U15s Shield final with a 3-1 victory over Holywell Town.
Oliver Phillips (2) and Aiden Futia did the damage with Bobby Poole hitting back. Hawarden will face Broughton United in the final at Lex’s Stansty Park ground on April 29. In the Flintshire Junior U13s League, Connor Dawson scored four in Mynydd Isa United’s 8-0 triumph over Mold Alex Athletic.
Mateo Lavery (2), Eric Parry and Dylan York also hit the target while Mold’s other side were 3-1 winners against Connah’s Quay Tigers, Gabriel Boydell-Jones (2) and Isaac Reece getting the goals. Hamzeh Jumaa hit back for Tigers. In the U14s Red Division, AFC Flint sneaked a 3-2 win at FC Nomads for whom Noel Morris and Declan Condron made a real game of it.
Aled Ratcliffe, Dawid Kromp and Harry Ibbotson won it for Flint. Gabriel Chadwick’s hat-trick helped Mold Alex to a 4-1 home win over Kinnerton Oaks for whom Thomas Lindsay scored. Kenzie Roberts was also on target for Mold.
In the Blues Division, Broughton United Saints’ Owen Harder and Oliver Maluszynski hit doubles in a 5-0 success at Mynydd Isa. Broughton’s Super Saints’ side drew 1-1 with Buckley Town Boys, Tyler Lawson and Louis Saynor the respective scorers. In the U12s League, Harry Williams (2) and Alfie Morris were Connah’s Quay Tigers Titans’ scorers in a 3-3 thriller with Hawarden who hit back through Sean Curtis (2) and Osian Evans.
Saltney Town were 2-1 winners at FC Nomads while Corwen made it the perfect 10 as the Wrexham League U13s Green Division champions signed off with a 3-1 win at Coedpoeth United Celts. Coedpoeth’s Falcons side fared better in the Red Division, winning 5-2 at Ruthin Town Blues. The final game of the U14s Blue Division season ended in a 4-2 win for Ruthin Town at home to FC Queen’s Park.
In the U12s League, Ruthin Town followed up a 3-1 defeat at leaders Hope Dragons with a 7-0 home win over Borras Park Albion Yellows..
