The 2025 NFL Draft had plenty of polarizing quarterbacks. With Miami QB Cam Ward going No. 1 overall - which was not a surprise - the others had various landing spots.
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Louisville's Tyler Shough and Alabama's Jalen Milroe all had unpredictable predictions going into the draft. Dart went in the first round to the New York Giants, Shough went at No. 40 overall to the New Orleans Saints and Milroe went No.
92 overall to the Seattle Seahawks. Milroe was widely expected to be a second-round pick, and Luke Easterling of Athlon Sports even predicted the Cleveland Browns to draft Milroe at No. 36.

After the selection, Milroe was asked if he had a message for the teams that had passed on him.
He had just three words, per Michael Duggar of The Athletic. "Belt to (expletive)," Milroe said. The Seahawks currently have Sam Darnold and Drew Lock on the roster, so Milroe will likely be holding a clipboard for some time before Seattle hands him the keys to the offense down the road.
Milroe also received an invite to the green room for the first round, so there were lots of expectations he would be a first or second round pick, and not one at the end of the third. Milroe was the primary starter for Alabama the past two seasons, throwing for just north of 2,800 yards in each year with a total of 39 touchdowns and 17 interceptions the past two years.
