Recalling her tough days in Mumbai, Jasmin shared how she once struggled to pay rent and often had little to eat. Jasmin Bhasin gained widespread recognition after her stint on Bigg Boss 14. Despite her popularity, the actress remains grounded and maintains a fun-loving demeanour.

In a recent interview, she shared why she values money so much and reflected on the struggles she faced in her early days. She recalled how challenging it was to survive in Mumbai, given the city’s high cost of living. In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Jasmin Bhasin said, “I always knew money was very important for me.

I wanted to earn since my college days, as I had seen my family struggling. My father was once really unwell and during that time I truly understood what money means—how it can literally save a life. Aur jab mujhe opportunity mili, mujhe laga, bas, theek hai—God has shown me a path.

Now I will work hard." Recalling her tough days in Mumbai, Jasmin shared how she once struggled to pay rent and often had little to eat. “How would I even eat—frozen paratha, Maggi, whatever was available? When you are struggling at that time, you don’t feel bad about anything.

You don’t feel like life is unfair or anything—it’s all a part of the journey; it’s the process. So it’s not like I was unhappy or anything; I was actually enjoying the process." Jasmin credited her father’s words as a guiding force during difficult times.

She recalled, “My father once told me, ‘Time teaches everything; just don’t give up.'" Reflecting on her struggles, she added that even though life wasn’t great back then, she knew things would improve someday. Jasmin Bhasin has been a part of several successful television shows, including Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Naagin 4, among others.

Besides her iconic stint on Bigg Boss, she also showcased her skills in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. In 2022, Jasmin made her Punjabi film debut with Honeymoon, co-starring Gippy Grewal. She is set to make a special appearance on Laughter Chefs 2, where she will be joined by her boyfriend Aly Goni.
