Jelleyman's Mill Puxton Lane community defibrillator stolen

Volunteers in Kidderminster have been left "devastated" after their community defibrillator was stolen last week. - www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk

Liz Gardiner, who co-runs Severn Valley Training alongside her daughter Charlie, said she was phoned by two people who have a barn near Jelleyman's Mill after they were alerted to the sound of tiles being thrown. The 47-year-old said CCTV captured some youths climbing over the gate on Saturday (April 19) to try and break into the old mill before climbing back over the gate with a black bag. Ms Gardiner, who is from Kidderminster and is the caretaker for the defibrillator, said: "We didn't really think about what the black bag could be until Trish and Mark were leaving and noticed the light in the defib box didn't look right.
