John Cena and Idris Elba are bringing the buddy action comedy to the highest offices with Heads of State , and the first trailer is online. Prime Video has released the first trailer for the upcoming film on Wednesday, and you can check it out below. The trailer sets up the hostile dynamic between Cena’s actor-turned-US President and Elba’s UK Prime Minister, who end up stranded when someone shoots down their plane.
The two continue their bickering as they seek rescue, which is coming at the hands of Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ MI6 agent. The film will arrive on Prime Video on July 2nd and is directed by Ilya Naishuller.
