The JSerra and Los Alamitos girls beach volleyball teams are among the top four seeds in Division 1 for the CIF Southern Section playoffs.Mira Costa, the two-time defending Division 1 champion, is the No. 1 seed.
JSerra received the No. 2 seed, Redondo is No. 3 and Los Alamitos is No.
4.Division 1 is a 16-team bracket. Other Orange County teams in the division: Santa Margarita, Edison, Laguna Beach, Tesoro, Newport Harbor, San Juan Hills and Huntington Beach.
Divisions 2 and 3 are 32-team brackets.In Division 2, Crean Lutheran is seeded No. 1 and San Clemente is No.
4.Other county teams in Division 2: El Dorado, Trabuco Hills, San Clemente, St. Margaret’s and Capistrano Valley Christian.
Canyon is the No. 4 seed in Division 3.Other county teams in the division: Westminster, Rosary, Pacifica Christian, Calvary Chapel and Costa Mesa.
In Divisions 2 and 3, first-round games are Tuesday, April 22.The first round in Division 1 is Wednesday, April 23.All divisions finals are May 3 at Long Beach City College.
