Peshawar - Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has announced plans to hold a Solidarity Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on April 27 to express solidarity with Palestinian Muslims and condemn Israeli atrocities in Gaza. Following the Lahore event, the party will organize the ‘Shuhada-e-Gaza Palestine’ conference in Peshawar on May 11. The decisions were made during an executive council meeting chaired by the party’s provincial emir Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman at Mufti Mehmood Markaz in Peshawar.
The meeting was attended by key party leaders, including provincial General Secretary Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwish, Naib Umra Mufti Obaidullah, and others. Abdul Jalil Jan, the party spokesman, stated that the executive council discussed the deteriorating law and order situation, target killings of religious leaders, the Mines and Minerals Act, and the martyrdom of Palestinian Muslims in Gaza. He emphasized the party’s concern over the silence of Muslim leaders on the growing atrocities in Gaza and expressed solidarity on behalf of the Pakistani nation.
