The meadows of Baisaran were left bloodied after terrorists opened fire on tourists on Tuesday. At least 26 people have been reportedly killed and dozens more were injured in the attack which took place in Pahalgam in Kashmir's Anantnag district. This makes it the most deadliest attack in Kashmir since the 2019 Pulwama tragedy.
As India reels through this shock, heartbreaking stories are emerging from the valley, where tourists were on a summer retreat. One such story is of Manjunath and his wife Pallavi, the couple from Karanataka 's Shivamogga who were vacationing in Pahalgam. The last video of Manjunath rao and Pallavi recorded before the attack.
They narrated their beautiful experience of Kashmir which shortly turned in to nightmare. Manjunath Rao was shot dead by #terrorists #pahalgam#pahalgam #Kashmir @terroristattack #KashmirTerroristAttack pic.twitter.

Speaking to local media, Pallavi reportedly narrated the horror - "Three to four people attacked us. I told them to kill me too, as they had already killed my husband.
They said, 'I won’t kill you. Go tell this to Modi." Pallavi and her son were reportedly rescued from the attack by locals.
A purported video has surfaced on social media featuring Manjunath and Pallavi while they were on a Shikara ride. In the video, which turned out to be their last as a couple, they shared their experience of the tour. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah expressed his anguish on social media, and promised to bring Kannadigas home.
