Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday’s Kesari Chapter 2 is receiving rave reviews. Politicians have been lauding the courtroom drama directed by Karan Singh Tyagi for their attempt to initiate a conversation and highlight the atrocious demeanour of the British. Shashi Tharoor, a Member of the Lok Sabha, who calls himself a fan of C Sankaran Nair, called the biopic an amazingly ‘well-crafted film’.

It took some liberty with historical fact, but it says at the very beginning it's fiction, but what it was to capture the spirit of resistance, especially using the instruments of a British court system.
