Khulaifi receives UN secretary-general’s special envoy, Togo FM

Qatar tribune Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for the Great Lakes Region Huang Xia in Doha on Wednesday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the UN initiatives aimed at promoting peace and sustainability in the Great Lakes region, as well as the role of Qatar in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region. The Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Togo Robert Dussey The agenda included ways to foster bilateral cooperation and the latest developments in the Sahel, West Africa, and the Great Lakes regions.
