Girls Get Off has been rejected by more than 20 insurers across New Zealand and Australia. The company has been looking for an insurer for a month. Last year, Girls Get Off was also denied a banking account with a major Kiwi bank .
The co-founder of Kiwi sex toy company Girls Get Off (GGO) says more than 20 insurance companies have refused to cover the company over the nature of its business. It comes months after GGO was initially refused a bank account with BNZ for similar reasons . Viv Conway told the Herald that GGO had been looking for a new insurer in New Zealand and Australia for the past month.
“[We’ve] had like 23 insurers in Australia come back saying that the nature of the business activities was outside their appetite,” Conway said..
