Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter booked for next AEW Dynamite

With one semifinals matchup in the books, we now know when the second Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament semifinals bout will take place. AEW announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite Spring BreakThru special that Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter in an Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament semifinals bout will take place on the Wednesday, April 23 Dynamite in New Orleans.

Half of the women’s Owen Cup finals are set following Spring BreakThru, with Mercedes Mone defeating Athena in a semifinals matchup on Wednesday’s Dynamite in Boston to advance. The tournament finals will be held at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday, May 25 in Glendale, Arizona. The tournament winner will earn a Women’s World title shot at the All In pay-per-view in Arlington, Texas set for Saturday, July 12.



Statlander defeated Thunder Rosa in the first round of the Owen to advance, while Hayter was victorious over Billie Starkz in the first round. Hayter is a former AEW Women’s World Champion, while Statlander is a former TBS Champion.In the men’s bracket, Will Ospreay advanced to the finals with a victory over Konosuke Takeshita on Wednesday’s show, and awaits the winner of the Hangman Page vs.

Kyle Fletcher semifinals matchup. No date has been announced for Page vs. Fletcher to this point.
