Do you become an adult when you hit a certain age, or when you have acquired enough “adult” skills? A few days ago, over my morning coffee, I read an article in The Economist titled “Too many adults are absolutely clueless”, and I chuckled at the existence of special “adulting” classes to introduce us twenty-somethings to sewing and changing a tyre – and then wondered whether it applied to me..
