Qatar tribune Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari took part in the Lebanon Roundtable for Recovery and Reconstruction Financing, held within the framework of the Lebanon Emergency Assistance Project, on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, DC. The roundtable aimed to explore ways to support Lebanon in addressing its current economic and humanitarian challenges, and to review effective financing mechanisms that can contribute to rapid recovery and sustainable reconstruction. The discussions also highlighted the importance of international coordination and strengthening partnerships between donors and international financial institutions to ensure a comprehensive and effective response.
During his participation, Al Kuwari reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and development efforts in Lebanon and expressed Qatar’s readiness to contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting stability and prosperity in the region. Copy 27/04/2025 10.
