Vehari - Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has said that pending issues related to labour colonies across the province will be resolved soon, allowing labourers to live comfortably. He made these remarks during a meeting with MPA Vehari Mian Saqib Khurshid. Saqib Khurshid highlighted long-standing problems in labour colonies managed by the Labour Department, citing the lack of basic facilities and administrative irregularities that have been causing difficulties for labourers.

He demanded that these issues be resolved on a priority and emergency basis.The Speaker assured full cooperation, stating that protecting laborers’ rights is a top priority for the government. He promised that all possible steps would be taken to address these issues.



Mian Owais Khurshid and Dr. Hassan Iqbal were also present during the meeting.Meanwhile, Sheikh Zafar Shahzad, District Secretary of Information for the Pakistan Muslim League (N), praised the Speaker’s initiatives in strong terms.
