” Donaldson hit a two-run single in the second inning, and he reached base in the fourth and sixth, giving way both times to a courtesy runner who wound up scoring as the first-place Huskies steadied themselves and eventually won despite losing an 8-0 lead. “I think it was the team,” Donaldson said when asked how the Huskies kept their composure after Fraser tied the game with an eight-run fourth. “None of us hung our heads.

We all knew we were still in it. It was a tie game. Everyone picked each other up.

No one was yelling at each other.” Lakeview improved to 10-1 in the division after winning for the second time in as many games against Fraser this week. The defending division-champion Huskies were to host the Ramblers on Thursday.

“We’ve got 10 seniors. They’ve been in these situations the last few years,” Lakeview coach Scott Kuhle said. “These guys know it’s going to be a battle every series.
