He served the village for a long while and it's a great way to show off his achievement". Stelios still works at The Chippy, where he said "people still mention how great of a man Bambos was". According to Mr Paphitis, one of the things he misses most about Bambos was the talks they had when preparing food for the day.
He said: "He was an honest, kind and generous man. I miss the conversations we had about life and everything in general whilst doing prep work." He also touched upon Bambos' legacy and how he will be remembered in the long run , saying: "He left a great legacy behind him which will be cherished forever.
People always appreciated him and that is seen in the legacy he left behind." Coun Hartshorn also mentioned the Cypriot's legacy. He said: "Now, future generations will see this bench and ask, “Who was Paul Tzirki?” And we’ll proudly tell them about a man who brought kindness, warmth, and community spirit to our village every single day.
