Leslie Roger Pektor OBITUARY Our beloved “PopPop,” Leslie Roger Pektor — affectionately known as “Les” — age 78, of Williams Township, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Born April 18, 1947, Les was the devoted son of Louis and Anna (Ballek) Pektor, a caring brother to Louis III, a true-hearted husband to his beloved wife, Judith “Judy” (Hoffman) Pektor, and a loving father to his sons, Ryan (and wife Kathy) and Chris (and wife Allison). He was also a cherished grandfather to Ava, Morgan, Kennedy, and Adalind, and a loyal friend to many.

Les grew up on his parents’ grain and dairy farm, Mid-Hill Acres, on Pektor Hill, where the deep roots of his work ethic and commitment to family were cultivated — values that lasted throughout his life. Les was known for his quick wit, funny one-liners, kind-heartedness, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He treasured his annual family travels, especially the summer days spent with “the kids” on the beaches of Lake George, NY, Ocean City, MD, and Myrtle Beach, SC.

These trips created lasting memories and stood as a testament to his love of bringing family together. In his retirement years, Les found great joy in frequent family dinners and barbecues, outings with friends, and daily breakfast dates with his beloved Judy. A graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1965, Les was a dedicated student-athlete on the football and baseball teams.

He later graduated from Moravian College, Bethlehem, where he was a proud brother of Sigma Phi Omega. Les dedicated 39 years of his life to Mack Trucks, where he served as Head of Manufacturing Computer Systems. His leadership, integrity, and loyalty built friendships that lasted long beyond his working years.

Leslie’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. We love you so much, PopPop. Family and friends are invited to a calling period from 9:30 – 10:30 a.
