Various Earth Day celebrations will be held to help educate and inform citizens on our planet and the need to take care of it every day.One local business is offering a unique way to commemorate Earth Day.
You can do it without getting your hands dirty, but rather by using those hands to make a replica of Earth.Bricks and Minifigs is located in Sunset Valley in Austin. It's a Lego resale shop whose business motto is "Rebuild, Reuse, Reimagine.
" Part of why they do what they do is to keep Lego bricks out of the landfill by, in owner Tommy White's words, "offering a fair trade value on sets and bricks that people no longer need, giving others a chance to love the sets that they loved previously."In light of their sustainability effort, they are hosting an event on Earth Day that will allow people to build a model of the Earth. It's a come-and-go event that will give people the chance to be creative in how they view our planet.
