Local parishes, officials honor Pope Francis in death

After more than 12 years in the Vatican, Pope Francis died Monday at 88. The news was announced early Monday morning by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, the Vatican camerlengo. Throughout his papacy, Francis was known for his commitment to the poor and bringing about change within the Roman Catholic Church.
